I started working on a story idea that follows two characters that have entered a racing circuit. The universe setting is sci-fi/fantasy non fiction that I'll be using to have magitech. The vehicles that are used on the racing circuit are transforming mechs built specifically to move over and through different terrain and in the air. The pilots in the racing circuit all have the ability to control blue flames & lightning, which is a major part of the control system on the mech. The teams are made up of two people, the pilot and a mechanic (though the person that becomes the main character's rival doesn't have a partner). I just need some help building up the story universe and the mechs that are gonna be used in the story. I'm working on the characters now and I'll post some about them later.
